Event Planning Project

For my Passion Project I am focusing on Event Planning. What this is going to look like is I am going to fine various resources and community partners to help me plan a community event for one reason. To bring the community together and mostly the teenagers in it and show them that creating relationship with your peers and having fun is completely healthy and great to do. I will also take this as a learning experience for myself to see what it's like to plan an event and host and event. I wanted to do this because I am about to graduate and I want to have one last thing that I can show for the last four years of my high school experience.

If there is anything I have learned from the research I have done on event planning is that you have

to develop event goal and objectives. The very first step is to establish a tangible goal and objectives. Another, is that you can't create an event alone it is very unrealistic, so you have to have a team. Of course set a date, you also have to establish partnership with a community partner or partners. And to overall create a publicly plan on how our going to get ex amount of people there.
Now with how your going to put together the event, the “Process”. First you have to have some kind of theme/ reason you are bringing these people together. Second. You have to have a budget for ask for donations or support from your community partners, there also have to be some kind of buy in with the idea of creating of said event. Third, is that coming up with a date and venu, and being about to have a estimate of people who will be attending so you can get food drinks utensils etc. And last, is having the vision of having a great turn out and overall people having fun!
