Should abortions be illegal

Nearly half of all pregnancies among U.S. women in 2011 were unintended, and about four in 10 of these were terminated by abortion. Abortion gives women the control of their own bodies. Abortion happens for all different reasons who is anyone to say that a woman can't do what she wants with her body? Many women that choose abortion today are financially unstable. Banning abortions would increase the rate of illegal abortions to take place, which are unhealthy and can be very dangerous. Another reason abortion should be legal is because a fetus doesn’t even have feeling until the 26th week. Any time before those 26 weeks doesn’t hurt your fetus.

Whether she's a high-school student, a college student, or even just a single woman working a normal 9-5, many expecting mothers lack the resources to cover the cost of pregnancy and birth. Saving for a baby is one thing but when it isn't planned it can cause a lot of stress and panic. For the nearly 50 million Americans who do not have insurance, this would mean an out-of-pocket expense of $10,000. People are going to do what they want regardless of what anyone has to say. It would be unfair for women who deal with being taken advantage of had to raise a child they were not ready for let alone didn't willing make, it could create neglection which would create more damaged kids that could turn into criminals. There is a lady named Judi M, who is 62, from New York, NY, in 1968/9 she had an illegal abortion, because abortions weren't legal then and she had been rapped by her mom's friend, her abortion left her with life risking problems when she woke up in a pool of blood without the person who had done the work.
