The Reproductive System allows for two individuals of the opposite sex to create a new being of their own. In humans we have two different types of reproductive systems, Male and Female. The female reproductive system’s goal is to produce and care for an egg till it is ready to be born. The male reproductive system’s goal is to produce semen to fertilize the egg. When this egg grows for about 9 months, it is born into the world. Without one or the other, a baby cannot be made. The Male Reproductive system consist of various parts, including Testes, Testosterone, Epididymis, Vas deferens, Semen, Sperm, Prostate , Urethra, Penis (shaft & glanz), Seminiferous tubules, Seminal vesicles, Bladder. This is when the testes are small and there are very little tubules. When this happens there could be a great amount of infertility. There could also be degeneration of the tubules, which could also lead to the same result, infertility. Testosterone is a hormone that stimulates the production of sperm and controls the developments of male sexual characteristics. It is the LH that stimulates the release of the hormone, which is found in the testes. It helps in deepening a boy’s voice, more body hair, more muscle, and stronger bones. If there is a deficiency of testosterone, then a man could have fragile bones, decreased body hair, and decreased muscle mass. It could be caused by chronic illnesses, injury, age, or stress. Another could be too much testosterone. This could give a man less heart attacks, less likelihood of obesity, more of alcoholic side, and more likely to get injured. They have more of a risk taking side, and the cause is mainly genetics. The epididymis is a duct behind the testes that allows sperm to pass to the vas deferens. It is a long tube that lies right by the testes. Its purpose is to transport the immature sperm and allows them to mature on the way.
