With countless studies and research done upon this topic, it’s hard not to believe that media violence doesn’t have an impact on a youth’s life no matter how minor it may be. Medical knowledge has shown that by seeing violent content on a daily basis it can cause an emotional response from the brain which has been stated to be a “provocative stimuli” that would cause one to act out in a similar manner. If so, it’s possible for someone’s response to aggression and violence to diminish or lessen as they are essentially being desensitized; their resistance to aggressive behavior would be “untamed” causing them to act out in a violent manner as well.
