Adventure of Huckleberry Finn has a lot of twist and turns in his adventure that turn him into the young man he is at the end. With all of the adventures there will always be the challenges, which transforms him into the person he is, but before all of that it must start with the call of the adventure. The Call, Challenges and the Transformation are a big part of a hero’s journey especially Huckleberry Finn’s. It all starts with The Call. The Call for Huckleberry Finn is when he realizes he has to find himself and be true to who he is. When his father takes him and practically kidnaps him Huck tries to escape; but when he is trying to figure out his plan he doesn't really know where to go after he escapes. He has either three choices. The first one is to just stay with his dad, his second one would be run off to Mrs.Watson or his third one which is runoff to the unknown, far away as possible. He is alone for the first part of his trip but one night he finds Mrs. Watson’s slave, Jim. Huck and Jim begin a very weird relation at the beginning of the trip, but they slowly end up trusting each other. One of Huck’s biggest challenges that is seen in this book, is the main struggle of him actually trying to find out what type of person he actually is. Everyone in Huck’s life tries to push him to become someone he is not. His father wants him to be the perfect naive son, Mrs.Watson tries him to become the perfect civilized young boy, and Jim tries to push his own beliefs in his mind. Huck has to decide in who he will trust and who he will betray. Jim has always been there for him especially through his whole adventure.
