Child neglect is a very serious issue that is going on all over the world. I will would like to explain the meaning, risk factors, and consequences of neglect. I will also explain a very smart way to approach and highlight situations to report to child protective services if you feel the child is being neglected, I will also also explain ways to prevent child neglect that learned from my research. Children that get neglected are at high risk to have mental disorders through their life. Another main reason for my research was to show how relationship between child physical abuses, emotional abuse, and neglect, and physical and mental disorders throughout their life. So again the reason for my research was to study was to show the possible relationship
Neglect is mostly seen by people who interact closely with the child like Teachers, nurses, day care personnel, relatives and neighbors usually are the people suspect and report the child neglect because they are close the child and feel bad and it is also the right thing to do. I will show four different types of child neglect to show you how easy it is to sometimes miss interpret a normal child from falling and having a cut to a child having a black eye. Physical Neglect is the main of maltreatment cases, physical neglect is a form of abuse in which caregiver does not provide the child with basic necessities for example clothing, home and food and water. Not being able to provide to provide these needed things, interrupts the child physical, psychological and development as an adult. Physical child neglect is as simple as not watching the child, denying the child emotional needs, as well as abandonment. Other way of neglect include educational neglect occurs when the guardian fails put a child in to school This type of child neglect might sooner or later affect the child from getting normal life skills ultimately impede the youth from acquiring basic life
