If I can make one person improve their quality of life by just a little bit, and show them the love and care that Christ has shown me, I have done my job. I believe in serving others and giving my best to patients.
I believe that Physical Therapy is an extremely important job in dealing with the medical field. The recovery process is an extremely crucial time period and how you recover can determine how fast and how effective it will be. Physical therapists strive to provide the best service to the health care community by innovating new exercise techniques and bettering their patients quality of life.

I had surgery on my foot due to a benign tumor and learned that it was a Physical Therapist whom showed me how to walk on my crutches.
A typical day of a Physical Therapist include seeing a few patients anywhere from an elderly person who has injured a knee, a high school athlete who tore an ACL, or a person with back problems whom has trouble walking. There also a few meetings that they have to attend on how to best improve their work. Being a PT can be stressful as they are always working on ways to improve rehabilitation techniques and become more efficient.
In order to achieve this profession, I will need to hold a doctorate degree. In the past, a master’s degree was required but now a doctorate degree is what is needed to be a Physical Therapist. After a bachelor’s degree is achieved, there is usually another 3 years of schooling tacked on.
The median salary for a Physical Therapist whom has been in the field for a while is $82,390 as of 2014. The more experience and higher demand in some areas resulted in higher salaries well into the six figures.
