Who is Superman? He was a superhero because of his super powers, but you don’t have to have special powers to be a hero. Just doing something that would help people or something, can make you a hero. One of the greatest heroes in American history is Andrew Jackson. Andrew Jackson is a hero because he took money from National governments and gave it to the State government, he also gained land from the West, and he got America more land for farming. If he didn’t do these things, we wouldn’t have an America. Andrew Jackson took the money from the national government and gave it to the State government. This helped us because it made our state's richer, if states were richer, that would make areas in America richer. People that worked with the National government were richer than most people with regular jobs. The Indian removal act pushed the Indians out of American land. Pushing Native American’s out of our land made us look stronger. Taking the land also gave us more room to populate, and more land to grow crops. This made us more money. If We did not move the Native Americans, we would not have as much population and crops, which would make us poor, and if we were poor, Natives could attack us, and take our land. The loss of land would hurt America, and we could no longer have America. Some of the things Andrew Jackson did, were not the greatest, but Andrew Jackson is the reason we have America. This is why Andrew Jackson is a hero, because of him taking money from National governments, and giving it to the State government, gaining land from the West, and moving the Indians to Western land.
