In the article, “Epistemic Disobedience, Independent Thought and De-Colonial Freedom”, Walter Mignolo talks about many different conceptual thoughts including those from other scholars. To start, Mignolo talks about how the world used to be based off of observations which a philosopher describes as ‘hubris of the zero point’ and some people classify the world in terms that they agree with and are to their advantage.
