Environmental Problems: Air Pollution

Introduction:

Air pollution is among the critical challenges facing modern societies and is one of the most pressing environing mental problems. Air pollution is accountable for major harmful effects on human strength, animal survives, natural ecosystems and the man-made environment. It is also responsible for climate change due to the improved greenhouse effect, acid rain, and the reduction of the ozone layer that inaugurate important global environmental problems. Air pollution occurs both outdoors and indoors and is caused by human activities and natural mechanisms. Although air quality degradation because of air pollution is a global problem that threatens humanity’s wellbeing overall, it is largely associated with environmental bias. Air pollutants rise from both manufactured and natural processes. Pollutants are also defined as primary pollutants resulting from fire of fuels and manufacturing processes and secondary pollutants, those which are produced due to response of primary pollutants in the atmosphere. The ambient air quality may be defined by the attention of a set of pollutants which may be present in the ambient air we breathe in. These pollutants may be called principles pollutants. Production standards express the allowable concentrations of a contaminant at the point of discharge before any mixing with the surrounding air. (Anonymous, n.d.)

In other words attractive people in creation crucial choices about the quality of their environment are a precondition for environmental sustainability and impartiality to occur. Therefore, persons should be supported in demanding life quality based on respect and impartiality for all human beings; in ensuring equal access to natural resources and health for all; in determining upon an expansion of their cities in agreement with nature and with respect to the cultures of different societies.
