Entertainment One Ltd. (further eOne) is an international media corporation, headquartered in Canada and involved in providing a global network for sales and distribution, acquisition, as well as marketing and promotion (Lafontaine, 2015, p.10). This corporation was at first created as a music distribution company (Records on Wheels Ltd., 1973), later acquiring new subsidiaries and moving into segments of Television, Family and Film (“About Entertainment One”).
Entertainment One Films, which is structured as eOne’s subsidiary, acquires film content rights and distributes these across several territories: Canada, UK, the Benelux, Australia, New Zealand and USA.
