Emily Dickinson had an especially unique writing technique, she origanlly had strange uses for grammer, but, could get her meaning across in a short sentence. For example one sentence from her poem "That It Will Never Come Again" gets what she is saying across, in only one sentence: "That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet". Her writing was from her heart, it is at times heart wrenching to read, though, at other times it brings a smile to your face. She speaks the honest truth with no sugar-coating or fliter. The voice Emily Dickinson uses is an almost dreamy sick voice that could possibly be imagined as a dark swirling cloud of dark dapression and anexity with the flash of bright white happiness breaking through the clouds every now again. Everytime I read more of Emily Dickinson's works I see how she truly was an amazing person who got through most, but not without a few scars of her own. I would handle the sudden shift of characterazation on page five by being sucked in by the... interesting personality of Mrs. Shelly, but, then once my character relizes she is out of character she might become have a look of being startled on her face and go back to being depressed, anxious and shy. On page ten when she claps animatedly she would slowly relize what happened. Being too "Taken" by Shakespeare does cause an effect on everyone, but only once for miss Dickinson.
