Whether you are walking down the bustling streets of downtown Toronto or frantically pacing across Ring Road to reach your morning lectures, there’s one familiar sound. The sound of loud polluting cars zipping past is a sore to our ears, with their loud grumbling combustion engines, invented in the late 19th century and still at the heart of most cars we know.
