Result and Discussion:
Presents research, shows a variety of experience and views on inter-caste marriage and its consequences. Some participants showed positive experiences; some negative while others had a mix of both. Still, some of them recognize that these experiences with one members of the other caste/group cannot be generalized to the whole caste/group. Further, inter-caste marriage affects one's attitudes variably in that this caused an increase in positive views for some whereas a decrease in such for others. Nonetheless, some participants reported that they treat those of the other caste/group in the same manner they treat members of their caste/group. The results shows that majority of youngsters believe that inter-caste marriages are good mean to reduce the negative attitude toward other group members but some old age persons, especially for their own children do not welcome the decision of inter-caste marriage. They criticized inter-caste marriages in different ways but still they did not deny the role of inter-caste marriage in reducing inter-group disharmony completely. Education played a very important role in this changed scenario, Education has broadened the boundary of thinking and helped people develop analytical powers. It has not only altered their perception about life, but also about social concerns such as marriage and relationship. Inter caste and inter religion marriages serves as a beacon light for social equality. In order to break the perils of caste-system, it has becomes incumbent that there should be inter-caste marriages. Marriage is mostly dependent on true love and feeling and once this is achieved, caste and religion all becomes secondary issues.Results show that there are various factors which affect the dynamics of inter-caste marriages, these factors draw the way in which inter-caste marriage results, either successful or less successful and help to reduce negative attitude or strengthen these negative attitude toward other
