Does exercise affect a person's memory retention.?
Purpose
The purpose of the experiment was to see if exercising will affect the amount of words teens can remember.

Background information
Exercising is very important to a person’s health. Exercising can decrease risks for getting diseases and you can be healthier overall from exercising. Another reason to exercise is because when you exercise it can benefit your brain and improve your memory. Many studies have been conducted to prove exercise is good for the mind and the body. “People who exercise regularly are 50% less likely to develop dementia.” (Postal, Karen. There are many different types of studies being conducted to find out if a certain exercise can help a person’s memory. Memory is a very large part in a person’s life, people start their memory from the second they are born. Even if you can't recall a memory from years ago doesn’t mean at the time it was unimportant. When you get older there are a few diseases that you could possibly get that will affect your memory like alzheimer's or dementia. These diseases can cause memory loss and make you forget things.
