Results of studying, zero point three percent of youth have been affected by anorexia, zero point nine percent by bulimia, and one point six percent by binge-eating disorder. (Collins, M.E. 2013). Many people think if you eat right and exercise an eating disorder will not be a problem. An eating disorder is something that is serious and needs to be taken care. If not right way it can really destroy you inside and out. Without treatment serious mood swings, physical problems, and potential death can occur (Renner , J. 2001). In the end result get treatment for any disorder you may have if you can. In this case what are some solution to help people with eating disorders, is there treatment you can get? Also how many types of disorders are out there? Types of eating disorders There are about three types of eating disorders, that either have an issue on weight with food or emotions. Anorexia is an disorder where it is a self-starvation which causes the victim in extreme weight loss (Insel, T. 2014, February 19). Here are some warning signs and health consequences that are easy to notice. Anorexia is when a person loses a good amount of weight and still wants to loss some more. This disorder will cause you to deny food when you're really hungry. Also the victim may be preoccupation about food, calories, fat grams, dieting, and even your weight. When you are self starving yourself there are health consequences like your body is not getting the nutrients it needs to function right so therefore you're destroying your body slowly (Renner , J. 2001). A second kind of disorder is Bulimia Nervosa, which is where you consume a large amount of food and vomit it back up. For example, starving is a way for people with anorexia to feel more in control of their lives and to ease tension, anger, and anxiety. Purging and other behaviors to prevent weight gain are ways for people with bulimia to feel more in control of their lives and to ease stress and anxiety (Lee, N.2013, April 20). Demi Lovato is right, you can overcome anything just believe in yourself, seek help if you need it, and accepted the fact that there is a problem that needs to be fixed. There are people out there willing to help your not alone in this get the help you need and get better.
