It is important for teachers to understand how important the development of a child is. Teachers should show as well as teach student that diversity and inclusion is important. Showing students how important inclusion and diversity shows students and their families that you value them and their education no matter where they come from or what their circumstance, It also will help student learn about other people background just as well as their own. Inclusion will get children to participate and learn from others.

According to NAEYC their definition of inclusion for early childhood inclusion is that they include the values, polices, and practice of infants and young child as well as his or her family no matter what the ability to participate in a board range of activities and context as a full member of families, communities, and society (NAEYC). NAEYC focus is to make sure that each child and their families feel like they belong and that they also have membership (NAEYC). Students will be more confident with being around students who I are not like them. Children are able to participate and be creative whiling giving feedback on the thing that they learned from their teacher and peers. Not only does students benefit from inclusion but so do their families as well. If the childs family is involved in their childs education, it will give them more say so in their childs learning. They also get to see the different levels of development that their child goes through. Parent and guardians will also understand that some of the things that other children can do their child may not be on the same on the same level as others.
