When reily was at the dinner table and she got mad her dad got even madder back at her and send her too her room. Also when Reilly went home she started crying her parents made sure she was ok and they got sad too because she was sad. Meta-emotion is emotion felt about experiencing another emotions. When Reilly is running away on the bus and she finally gets her main two emotions and she’s just happy again because she is felling her emotion. In the movie reily mood where either sad or full of joy and they wanted also when reily emotion and when her emotions choose to runway or stay emotionless. Owning is when verbally taking responsibility for our own thoughts and feelings. When reily came back form running away and she told her parents what she did and feeling sorry for that’s. In this theory a person learns that events cause physiological arousal first then emotion. Although motivations biggest influence is emotion, another influence is having a goal. For example, you have a aunt who would like to get fit. Your aunt sets the goal of watching what they eat, and trying to exercise more. The motivation here for your aunt would be the goals that they had previously set. But some people could also argue that the goals are also linked to emotions because the goals were made from some desire , and desire is an emotion.
