You’re in a world full of no traffic signs, no steering wheel, no seatbelt, and even no other cars on the road; it may seem like a mere example of heaven and laziness, but no. You’re just drunk. Drunk driving gives you a feeling of invincibility and strength to do whatever you feel like. But in reality, you’re even more prone to being severely injured or dying.
The brain is a sensitive organ that is used to send signals to the whole body. In an article “Alcohol Alert: Drinking and Driving”, It states, “Driving involves multiple tasks” (1). People may think they can multitask while drunk, but they can’t because they’re drunk.
Driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious offense and people can get in big trouble for it if they are caught, especially if they have multiple offenses. Nobody wants to be in trouble for something they can easily avoid. People don’t believe they’ll get in trouble at the moment but end up being caught and thrown in jail. Many people are in the drunk tank every day and they really deserve it.
Driving under the influence of alcohol is a major cause of fatal car accidents. It is actually said to be one of the main causes of death in the world. There needs to be stricter laws and more educators teaching and forcing people to stop driving under the influence and making sure that everyone on the road is safe from harm.
