This is Tennessee Cox's application essay for drum major. My expectations for my self is that I will do the best of my ability. Although I cannot promise to be the best drum major ever, I can promise that I will be the best drum major that I can be. The most important part of being a good leader is to take priorities and try to suit everyone. Ever since I was little, I have been a leader, so I embody a leader who can take charge without being bossy. I can also adapt to different situations very well. In class we like to have fun, so you have fun when the time is right, and be serious when the time is right. is important to me for many different reasons. The main thing I like about band is unlike many teams and organizations, your band is family. You all have eachothers back
(most of the time) and you all care for eachother like family(most of the time). Another reason band is important to me is every individual person makes up one piece. If if everyone is together then you make a great outcome, and vice versa. I embody a leader in band because I love to help out. If someone needs to know fingerings or needs help with rythems I am glad to help. I am a leader in band also, because I love band and I will do anything to support band, and embody band as a whole.
