Drones and Commercial Benefits Drones have become a part of life for people all over the world and have progressed from being an alternative from model air crafts to being normal toys for young children. With that has come the realizatiion that unmanned craft has many features and can have a lot of commercial uses. The technology has developed and the potential is unlimited. Companies or individuals should start considering drones for commercial use when it is apparent that the normal type of supervision and delivery methods are not efficient and enhancing advertising features. Commerciail Use The use of drones to deliver goods to remote areas make a lot of sense especially in areas where there are no facilities for light aircraft to land and the supplier only has the choice of a helicopter. Helicopters are very expensive to operate and when a small item needs to be delivered to a person needing a medical device such as a respirator a drone is well suited to do so. Real estate agents all over make the initial contact with prospective customers by using adverts. Now the advertising campaign has become that little easier with drone aireal photography. One of the biggest industries that would benefit from the the use of the drone is agriculture. Not only for very dangerous and expensive …show more content…
The reason is quite simply that with vast areas of crops or lifestock to check on it is virtually impossible to do on foot or by vehicle. Up to now agriculture has progressed and the farmers have coped but with the help of drones their livelihood will just become more efficient. Not only will the drones be able to be the eyes of the farmer but will also have the capacity to send data back for the framer to analyse. If there is disease in the crop the farmer will be able to react and in that way save thousands of
Current usage of the commercial drones is pretty basic and only involved in the usage as delivery drones . Which means it will deliver the items on the time. Humans makes mistake or deliver the wrong package, the machines don’t .The machines only follow the instruction and only do what is instructed to them . Also humans get tired machines don’t. Usage of delivery drones will definitely reduce the human labor force which could be for better or worst . Advancement of the commercial Drones will help us save many lives. For example Commercial drones c...
Topicality: With advancements in surveillance technologies, drones have become a popular surveillance tool used by the FBI. Drones are small aerial vehicles that are unmanned and can carry cameras, microphones and tracking devices. They can even carry chips that mimic cellphone towers and collect data from your cell phone. These drones have no regulations, so you never know when or where the FBI could be watching you. The new White House memo requires government agencies to develop clear rules to protect americans privacy.

Drones are helping farmers with keping cows and horses and pigs ,chickens, hens goat ,lamb and more. inefficient. With thermal sensors, drones can quickly discover the location of lost persons , and are particularly useful at night or in challenging terrain. The search and rescue mission is a battle against time, particularly in harsh conditions, and drones become a powerful tool because of the ease of deployment. Besides locating victims, a Drone could potentially be used to “drop in supplies” to an otherwise unreachable location. For example a drone might be utilized to lower a walkie talkie, gps locator, med supplies or water to a stranded victim before rescue crews are able to extract them. They main purpose is to know the location of the person in need of help. Also another way they can use them is to carry supplies to the person in danger. Many movies require the use of drones. Film producers are able to take stunning scenery images for signifactly cheaper prices on a drone than sending someone in a helicopter. Since drones are also able to fly lower to the ground than a helicopter, they are able to capture images otherwise unobtainable. Companies like National Geogrpahic thrive off of drones because of the breath-taking photos they are able to capture while also being able to monitor wildlife populations and problems within their environment. But large companies are not the only people can use drones for entertainment. Civilians are able to buy and fly their own drone as long as it meets certain requirements. People use these drones for racing, accessorizing and recreational

Movie directors/anybody that wants to film can use drones to capture things from a bird's-eye view. Also, scientists or anybody that studies animals can use drones to
Wired Magazine did an awesome job explaining how drones are changing the movie industry with their article “Drones are About to Change how Directors Make Movies”. In this article they explain a project that CorridorDigital worked on called Superman With a GoPro. This project consisted of replicating the famous scene from Man of Steel where superman is flying in the air between buildings at crazy fast speed. To shoot this short video they used a drone with a camera mounted on it and used video editing software to add arms to the video so it looked like we are seeing the world from Superman’s point of view. Drones were able to give them the shot they wanted while saving money on renting a helicopter to carry the camera. My main purpose for adding this section is to portray the different uses of drones. Consumer drones were not made to be used as weapons or other devices such as spying devices. As we see the progression and advancements in technology within new drones, we can see that the main purpose of a consumer drone is to give the ability to independent filmmakers and ordinary people to explore filming, and provide a relatively affordable tool to get a shot that you use to be able to achieve with a helicopter, but this technology also poses a threat. With better cameras that are capable of a clearer picture and farther
With the new delivery capabilities, the time it takes for packages to be delivered across long distances could be cut down to a matter of hours. The uses for drones extend far beyond the single-minded idea that drones are killing machines with no other capabilities.... ... middle of paper ... ...
Another name for drones are Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS). These are “aircraft either controlled by ‘pilots’ from the ground or increasingly, autonomously following a pre-programmed mission” (Cole 4). Even though there are many unique types of drones, but they usually fall under two main categories: ones that are armed and equipped with missiles and bombs and others that are used for surveillance. In the past couple of years the use of drones has increased dramatically. The reason being because “unlike manned aircraft they can stay aloft for many hours and are flown remotely so there is no danger to the flight crew” (Cole 13). There are drones that can actually fly over more than fifty hours. In countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq, the Predator and U.S Reaper are physically there. Cause of the power of technology th...
There are pros and cons of using drones around the world. One pro of having drones and surveillance the crime rate should have a significant drop. "The reason why crime would go down would be because people who commit crimes are more likely to get caught. Depending what type of drone it is you could attack a speaker or microphone and speak through it."
The team must find a way to construct a drone that will help assist Hazardous Materials Response Teams. Though emergency response teams are implementing drones more and more frequently, there is still no drone on the market that serves the very specific needs of Hazmat teams. This is unfortunate, because research shows that drones have been helping emergency response teams be safer and more effective in urgent situations (Hall, 2015). Drones can be used instead of humans when a dangerous situation, like a fire or chemical leak, must be dealt with. They can be equipped with high-level technology to help the emergency response team understand what the situation entails (Hall, 2015). If the engineering team is to successfully construct a drone
Living in the digital age where we enjoy the various fruits of latest technological tools and advancements, then at the same time we cannot escape from their hidden or apparent harms. Also, it is a fact that some gadgets supported by these technological advancements are much capable to bring destruction and disaster then construction and convenience. The same goes for the Drone Technology which since past 200 years is being used to create turbulence at the global level. It has proved to be a powerful investigator and bomber at the same time. Drones are specifically associated with military actions and the countries having used them for surveillance purposes include UK, USA, Italy, Japan, Austria, Australia etc. The list of victim counties or nations is much bigger in contrast. Some prominent victims of Drone Air Strikes include Congo, Venice, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. However, it is also an undeniable fact that the massive production and usage of Drones got multiplied in the 21st century.
