Domestic Relationships: Many men and women everyday suffer from being in domestic relationships. Some survive, some stay, or worse some die. Now, that I have your attention if your in a relationship ask yourself am I or a loved one suffering from a domestic relationship? Whether it’s verbal abuse or physical abuse its all a form of abuse.
Women as well as men stay in domestic relationships due to being fearful of their partner or better yet they feel the toxicness is Love. “On Average, nearly 20 people per minute are physical abuse”(statistics) and “More than 35% of women and 38% of men in the U.S. have experienced domestic violence in their lifetime. (the cycle of domestic violence) . For many people domestic Violence is just a repeating cycle that starts with the Tension Building Phase. In this Phase the Victim feels as if they cant say everything on the mind and be open with their partner. “Walking on eggshells is what focht calls it” Their communication starts to fails from this point and when there …show more content…

In this phase the Abuse is no longer Verbal its has became in fact physical. In this case a victim can be rape or the agtagonists can try to rape their partner. Getting more into physical abuse “The abuser start to physically lashes out on the victims(the cycle of domestic violence.)” and become more controlling on the victims everyday life. The abuser can began to control the people the victim communicates with the places they go and isolates them from the world and their everyday life. During this phase the anganist is left with scars that are noticeable. In some case these scars can need medical attention. Due to the situation the victim doesn't go and seek the proper care they need. This can lead to ugly scares with improper healing. Next, The Self esteem. The victim self esteem can be knocked so low that it could (take years to recover their self esteem while also needing professional help.)( get domestic violence
