Do you know what would happen if you have sex with your family members? Do you know how having sex with a family member affects the child? Incest is so dangerous. Incest affects the child but parents will never realize how much damage it does to the child. In some parts of the world, people see no problem with incest. Everyone has there own opinion on who they choose to have sex with. This is what happened to Henrietta Lacks and her family. The Lacks family kids had many medicinal intention because Henrietta and her husband's were first cousins. The questions that people have no clear understanding is whether incest should be legal? For instance, in Europe and United Kingdom, consensual sex between siblings is a criminal offence in majority of their countries (Sokol,2012). If it is a criminal offence in some part of the world it should be in all parts of the world. Sex between family member should be prohibited. This should be an important law that should be set in all states because several girls are impregnated with a man who is one of their family members. It does not only affect the child but it also affect that teen as she continue to age. A story was told by a 16 year old teenager who explains what happen to her. This young lady was part of a family sex ring that she let continue happen until she was 15. At the age of 15, she got pregnant. Being pregnant was her way to escape. Knowing all the things that her family members did to her she decided to take her and her baby and move away.
