Is Christianity losing its meaning? This is the question that many ask as many people today are becoming Christians just by name, but not actions. Despite people describing themselves as Christians, very small proportion of them really know what Christianity ought to be and as they do not attend Christian gatherings or practice the teachings. Christ exemplified the core Christian virtues of love and hope through his teachings and actions, which they should be practiced by every believing Christian. In this article, I will demonstrate that Christianity represents love and hope. I will support this by pointing out how God loved the world by giving out his son to die to save human (Wright, 2017), the Christian love is not only by show of sympathy, but also by action, and, giving hope to others. Personally, I have not been a devout Christian, but I have lived alongside people who have had deep Christianity faith. According to what I observed, Christianity is a religion of hope and resilience. The hope among Christians is based on their deep belief in the coming back of Jesus Christ. According to teachings of Christ, as I know, Christians are not supposed to avenge when someone or a certain group wrongs them or attacks them. God does not demonstrate hate for human beings despite them acting against his will, this is the reason he freely gave out his son for whoever believes in him to get saved.
