Globalization is inevitable and we can no longer escape it in a way that we are living in a globalize world wherein “globalization is not only a single process but a complex of processes, sometimes overlapping and interlocking but also, at times, contradictory and oppositional ones” (Andrew Heywood 2011. With the presence of the expansion of businesses into different parts of the world, the presence of international institutions like IMF, WB, WTO, the increasing of technological advancement and new inventions, and the political and environmental development well it’s already impossible to escape, because I believed that no country can stand on its own without the help of other countries. We can use the Global Financial Crisis happened in 1997 when the Asian countries collapsed, they needed help from international institution to somehow backed them up financially, that’s why the IMF/WB release bail out to the affected countries in order for them to recover from their loses, and with that we can clearly see the implications of globalization in today’s world.
