Freedom Have you ever wondered what freedom really means? I can tell you that I definitely have. Everyone has their own way to define freedom. I am going to tell you what I think freedom is. The United States of America has the freedom of speech, religion, and press. These are some of "the rights of life and liberty" (Franklin D Roosevelt). Others might argue that freedom is the right to do whatever you want at any time. If freedom was like some people think it is there would be no control or order in the country. Freedom is supposed to give you the right to give or suggest ideas. It is also supposed to let you dream and help make those dreams become a reality. There are also people from every continent living in harmony. The people who came to the United States had to have courage and faith just as much or even more than the founding fathers. People coming from different nations and continents will want to keep practicing their worship or religion, with freedom you are allowed to do so. Every culture should be respected but not all cultures are. They should all be valued for how diverse each one is. When people think freedom they probably think what an easy life, but that is not the case. Freedom does not come free! Being free is one of the hardest thing to earn. I see freedom like respect, it has to be earned. When the founding fathers of the United States were building this country I am pretty positive they had to work really hard to achieve their goal! As I said earlier freedom is the right to dream, in order to fulfill your dream you have to work hard to achieve it. Most people who really want something usually gain a knowledge on it. When you have knowledge on a certain subject you have a better understanding about that subject. Choosing an education your mentality will come to grow.
