Decision-Making Patterns of U.S. Parents and Adolescents: A Data Commentary
Adolescence is a period of transition from the children to adults. It is generally about 10 to 20 years old (McDowall, Loftin & Wiersema, 2000). Parents often help their children make decisions when the child is less than ten years old. For example, parents do not let children use an open flame.
