People who commit heinous crimes should not be punished with the death penalty, since it is immoral and unethical considering it contradicts the principles established in every country’s Constitution about not killing. All humans have the right to live no matter what they have committed. The Declaration of Human Rights clearly states that no human has the authorization to kill another living human being. No matter what crime a person commits, authorities should not have the right to execution.
Murder is also a form of crime. If authorities kill someone, a murder occurs, therefore committing a crime, and a punishment should be applied. If the death penalty is applied as a punishment, the judges that came to the verdict and the person who actually killed the criminal, should be penalized. If punishment does not occur, at that instant, the country becomes unethical and corrupt due to authorities not being charged with the law in behalf of committing murder.

Death stops criminals from continuing crimes, it would stop anyone. However, other punishments like a life sentence is better, ensuring that the criminal will not continue committing crimes involving death of innocent people. Another form of punishment should be obligating the criminal to financially help the affected family. These two punishments will not only provide a little hope in families affected by heinous crimes, but they will also be sure that the criminal will no longer affect them and other families. A man is standing there with a noose around his neck. When there is a signal, the rope is cut, and the man’s body is dropped through the trap door. He is hanged like that in front of a crowd, which is even including old people and small kids. Is there anybody thinks about how would a child react if he had to witness such a horrible scene? An execution takes one’s life to warn the community with the hope that the crime rates would go down. But it is extremely cruel, and it makes people feel like they are living in the ancient world when there are no human rights. Sometimes, however, the felons also can avoid the death because some countries (or actually states) don’t allow death penalty. Then, what decision would the convict get?
