This article from Dank Meredith, Lachman Pamela, Janine M. Zweig, Yahner Jennifer “Dating Violence Experiences of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth”. The authors describe the violence involving (hate crimes and bullying) in an adolescent’s dating relationships. This study focuses on the physical, psychological, sexual, and cyberdating violence among LGBT youths. Ultimately, the authors conclude the LGBT youth are at a higher risk for all types of dating violence victimization compared to heterosexual youth.

This article is well examined, and the factors of dating violence are presented by authors’ builds a strong case for their argument that LGBT adolescents have higher risks of interpersonal violence than heterosexual youths. This source will be helpful for my essay as it directly addresses my topic of the physical, psychological, sexual and cyber dating violence in LGBT adolescents.
