I have wanted to go to a Culinary School since I was seven years old. I have a true passion for cooking and baking. I feel like I could make something of myself by embracing my passion. Ma-joring in Business and is a key ingredient in running my own business, which is also a dream of mine. Financial aid, scholarships, the military, or hitting the ground running will get me where I need to go after I graduate. After graduation I will eventually go to the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. I.C.E. offers many programs such as Culinary Arts, Pastry and Baking Arts, and Restau-rant and Culinary Management. Student housing, financial services, and military and veteran benefits are offered. I can apply for Financial Aid with the school and earn my degree that way. I can get my associates degree in Restaurant and Culinary management before my degree in Pas-try and Baking Arts. I am going to apply for scholarships and fill out a FASFA form either way. There are more than enough scholarships around the globe to get me through college. Without scholarships it is going to be hard to pay for, but that is why I am considering joining the Navy after graduation. The Navy is the safest branch of the Military to go into, and the benefits are unbelievable. I could travel around the world if I wanted to, get a full ride through any college of my choice, and get on the job experience while working in the Navy. On the ASVAB test I scored a 69, this qualifies me for roughly 80 percent of jobs the Navy offers including the position of chef. The ASVAB is a timed test that someone can take that tells what strengths and weaknesses that someone has. I spoke to a recruiter and he said this would give me the training I need before I get to
