I was only 15 going on 16 at the time, my life was finally starting. It was springtime, I was dressed in my royal ball dress searching through the market for the right pair of white gloves, for the ball later that night. I was abruptly stopped, when a tall figure bumped into me. My face immediately turned red in fury, I glanced up to find shiny medals blinding my eyes. “I’m sincerely apologize, young lady. I did not mean any harm,” giving me a hand up. “How dare you ruin my royal ball dress. There is no absolute way they can get the mud out of this before dusk,” my voice raising to show the fury in my voice. “I apologize again, but I am Demetrius,” he introduced while gesturing to shake his hand. “ Ohh, so your the nobleman the ball is being held for?” I asked giving him my hand. …show more content…

“Now, I must go so I can find a new dress for the ball later,” I gestured toward the castle. “ Oh, no I will not let you, I will get you a dress. I’m sure my servants should have one,” He grabbed my hand and began to dash to his ship. “Oh my goodness, Demetrius. I love it,” I looked at my beautiful peach dress through the wooden mirror. The dress had multiple drapes on the bottom half and the top was a plan sweetheart line. “Now, I must go to the castle before my father gets worried. Thank you again Demetrius,” I quickly dashed through the market, up the steps and to the castle. “Hello father, look at my new dress!” “Where you get that from?” he questioned “The nobleman, he bought it for me after he got mud on my other one,” I revealed shyly and looked to the ground. I knew the rath was coming. “Why are you lying. A wise nobleman like himself would not even look your way. They only look upon women that are beautiful, not women like you,” the roar of his voice startled me, he then throwing things at me.
