Contaminated Water Essay

Water is one of the important resources that human or other living things cannot live without it. Moreover, people that live in the country sides such as people that live in Klity creek will be more struggle than us if they are run out of water. Water source become a big important role in their life. For the local people they need to use water for consume, cook and so much more. Therefore it is convenience for them to get water from the source that closes to where they live which is from the river, but because of the lead mining that make water sources contaminated and cause a lot of problem after. Hence, the contaminated water should be solve so the local people could live without difficulty.
Contaminated water affect to the local people life, according to the article “Heavy metal tragedy still playing out at creek” they said that they are a lot of people that got the side affect from the water contaminated Ma Aung Seng’s is one of the victims that got the serious side affect from the water contaminated by lead, because of her high levels of lead in her blood led her to the loss of her eyesight. As reported by “the lead contamination in Klity creek” video, local people share their thought that even they knew water in the creek is not clean, but they got no choice they need to consume it. To let people life hanging by a thread just because of the selfishness of the lead mining company it is irrational. I do not think people that did not involve in anything should get the side affect from this. Even though they try to find the new way to get new water source but it is not success due to the poorness and the clean water supply is not enough for all community members. One of the villager said “We have no time to wait for the creek to naturally recover as villagers need water to survive” that is why they need to motivate themselves to clean up the creek, so they can use water for living as fast as they can. One lasting is the government should put more attention in this so it can be done real soon and the villager can live their life normal as they usual.
In conclusion, water source is one of the most important things in their life. It is the only source that they have and the only source that they depended on the most. Contaminated water can make the villager live with the difficulty because they got the side affect from it which could lead them to death. So, the best way to let them live without hardship is to give their children a better education and the government should be more serious in this.
