Reckless living may be fun with all the “live by no rules”, but what people don't think about is the major consequences when being caught. People must know the U.S. is a free country, so they can do bad things, but they will be punished for their actions. Most choose to live recklessly just because they hate rules, others sometimes have no other option but to live so recklessly. The meaning of reckless living is breaking the law for profit and such things, like robbing federal banks, selling illegal drugs, killing, in general really bad stuff. Reckless living occurs to many teens because their brains aren't fully developed, this affects the decisions they make. A long term analysis of about 20,000 teens all around America grades 9 through 12 were interviewed three different times. First was in 1995, again in 1996, then the last one was in 2000 and 2001, the first interview, 1.4% of participants thought there was no chance that they would reach their mid-30’s; 2.4% thought it was possible, but very unlikely; and 10.9% believed they had only 50-50 shot of making it to their 35th birthday. Many obvious effects of drug abuse, which are manifested in the people who do these drugs, include sick and bad health, death is also a very common thing in most drug addicts. One of the terrible things of people using drugs is the unsanitary effect it can have, for such needle born illnesses like HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.
