Support: In health and social care practice, an individual is given required privacy, given independence, allowed individuality. Besides these, every individual is given equal rights, support, attention and care and his friends and families also treated properly. In health and social care, individual from culture of wide variety to be served and for this reason, views and values from different cultures and communities are respected. Providing confidentiality: Confidentiality means the limitation in sharing information with others. Confidentiality is considered as a human right. Some people prefer to remain their information confidential and for this purpose confidentiality should be maintained if demanded by a particular individual. Sometimes confidentiality is important because it may create the mental or other problems for individual. Person centered approach: In this case, choices, needs and preferences of person are supported. Person’s requirement is the most important factor according to this approach. Approach of one person may vary with another person. Person centered approach is needs led rather than services led. 1.2 There are some procedure for protecting, patients and colleagues from harm. For this reason, the potential risk of should be assessed. After identifying the risk, the information should be informed to the relevant person. If the risk can be assessed perfectly then precautionary measures can be taken to avoid the risks or at least minimize the risks. For assessing risk, carefully check-up the clients, patients or colleagues necessary. After checking up the patients the potential risks can be assessed properly and immediately have to inform the concerned person. Care Standards Act 2000 in England and Wales for children, adults and vulnerable patients. If the legislation can be implemented properly the process of nursing and voluntary health services will be simple, easy and patient friendly. If you critically analysis the law mentioned above states some policies, legislation, regulations and codes of practice that are implemented by me through my own work in health and social care. Those acts of the law easily related with my work. After all, I’m naturally a hospitable person who may be supported by all legislation and practice of health and social care.
