Nowadays high school graduates are searching for a good university to study in, one of the most famous universities in Qatar is the universities in the education city. Each university is different as in each building there are different properties, nations, and majors. However, sometimes there are some common features between two universities and that build a similarity between the two because they are neighbors. In the education city at Qatar, there are more than six different universities; each university is majoring in a specific major. For example, Texas A&M University at Qatar is offering a degree in engineering and Northwestern University at Qatar is offering a degree in communication and journalism. This first similarity is based on the fact that both of these American universities are branches from the mother universities in the United States. Texas A&M and Northwestern were both set up by an agreement between the main campuses in the United States and Qatar Foundation, and that agreement joins both of the universities in the same location, so they are neighbors. Based on that, both of the universities have facilities and staff from the main campuses. As a result of that, the students in each university at the education city have the same opportunity on the main campus, which is to be taught by specialist professors. Additionally, the students in both of the universities have the opportunity to study abroad in the main campuses of the universities. The first difference is the admission requirements in each university. TAMUQ focused on math scales and based on that it focuses on the result of the ACT mostly which is an international test for math. However, NUQ focused on the English scales and based on that it focus on the results of IELTS which is a language test. Additionally, one university is required one personal statement essay while the other university required three different essays to be accepted. A typical junior or senior in high school is faced with a dizzying array of choices in choosing a college. Questions such as "How much is tuition." "Is there housing on campus," and "What standardized tests do they accept." are all valid and relevant. Fortunately, asking these types of questions often narrows a broad swath of potential colleges down to a small few. With that in mind, I chose a university that seemed to suit my needs, and I applied. Since I was accepted, I did't need to apply anywhere else.
