The wall for history. Robert Frost in “Mending Wall” and Ronald Reagan in “Tear Down This Wall”, have some comparison for their alienation toward the thought of walls of separation. Robert shows more theme of separation thought on the matter. On the other hand, Ronald speaks more of not being together as one. First, there is the theme of separation. In Frost’s poem he shows us how walls separate peoples and creates distance. Secondly, he representation when explaining how nature doesn't even comprehend the thought of walls. Lastly, Frost explains his statement on the fact of nature dislikeing walls by saying “something there is that doesn't live a wall/that sends the frozen-ground-swell under it/and spills the upper boulders in the sun”. After these two text, the authors share a common abomination for walls and the separation they create. Even though walls create separation they can also prevail people and their thoughts and actions. Using a wall in this type of way create separations in the people of this world. It changes humans makes people all pretender. Ronald Reagan tells us that wall make our country become self conceived, because it makes a change safe and a defense and when something challenges,but they can also affect and sometimes corrupt countries. …show more content…

This is very clear in the talk and how the speech was presented by Ronald Reagan. What creates this separation, walls, yes walls can influence a person's life and those who surround him. Reagan’s speech directly shows the separation of countries when he explains the Berlin Wall and how much strife it has caused, and that their is no need for such a diabolical bstruction to be seen by the people. Robert Frost poem doesn't show separation of country so no evidence of this point can be showed. Again we see elimination by walls.
