On Midsummer Night’s Dream Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare tells a romantic story about desire. Theseus and Hippolyta, are about to be married; both of them are wonderful figures from classical mythology. (Greek Mythology) Theseus is a great warrior, a kinsman of Hercules; Hippolyta is an Amazon warrior-woman, defeated in battle by Theseus. As the curtains open, Theseus is longing to be wed. The curtains close as they exit their wedding bed. Within the world of Athens, two young men and two young women. They sort themselves out into marriageable couples, but only after one triangle, with Hermia at the peak, and Helena becomes temporarily left out. As the story goes on Hermia becomes the one left out. The triangle then becomes Helena …show more content…

This is where it starts to get good. The two run away together because the forest is a place where people run away from their problem. Both the woods and Athens do have some similarities. They both share love. Every love battle become good in the end because everyone has someone who they love. Both the woods and Athens share struggles that they all have to overcome, and it all started with a flower.
