Martin Luther King Jr was an intelligent, he was a pastor of a Baptist Church in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. He was the heart of the Civil Right Movement that pushed for equality. While Friedrich Nietzsche was a generous and respectful man who explains about how the world should be good instead of evil. Friedrich was also talking about how if everyone did the right thing they will reach perfection. Both articles talk about how humanity is not coming together as one like how the constitution said “All men were created as equal”.
Friedrich Nietzsche was a brilliant and outspoken man who uses ideas of what he believe in what life is about. He did not believe in what is right and wrong because if who opposed the power. Nietzsche was against Democracy because how they depend on other people to make some different or change, while Nietzsche believe they should of just pick the ones that were gifted and talent to choose what to change. Nietzsche also does not believe in Aristocracy because how they depend on an individual person to create the rules or change those benefits for him. As you see Nietzsche did not like how they depend on one person to decide instead of each person to decide for himself for their own benefits.

To prove his point of what he is mentioning he used Categorical Syllogism for example all people have rights. All African Americans are people; therefore, all African Americans have rights. Thus King wanted to change how people look at African American not as slaves, but just human beings just like the Caucasian people. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X paved a significant path towards a racially neutral society. There is no doubt that both Martin and Malcolm influenced a whole generation of rebels to fight racism and discrimination. Martin Luther King Jr. had a more peaceful standpoint to attempt to solve racism. Malcolm X on the other hand used violence and force to get the necessary results. They both shared a common objective, but took different actions to achieve the goal.

Upon spending his night in jail for refusing to pay his poll taxes, Thoreau said that he felt “As if he alone of all his townsmen had paid his tax” (Thoreau 319). Thoreau is trying to say that he is feeling as if he was the only one who really served his time in prison and paid his justice more than those who object and claim they haven’t. King went to jail due to a program of sit-ins at luncheon counters. While King was in jail he wrote a letter which was formally intended for the eight white clergymen. As I mention before, King believes that he has been unjustly put in jail and he is being a responsible citizen although he knows he has been put in jail wrongfully. King thinks that injustice just exists and tension must be created with direct action to negotiate with the machine. However, Martin Luther King Jr. uses pathos to create a welcoming and patriotic feeling whereas Malcolm X uses fear. Martin Luther King Jr. uses a check, used on a daily basis, as the object of his central metaphor; Malcolm X uses a powder keg, a very damaging and dangerous object, as the object of his central metaphor. Lastly, Martin Luther King Jr. warns his audience that the people of color will revolt passively. On the other hand, Malcolm X warns his audience that the people of color will revolt violently with bloodshed. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X both achieve their goal. After reading both speeches, Malcolm X seems, in my opinion, to have made a greater impact on the white community because fear is stronger than joy.
He felt that all Americans should be equal and that they should forget about injustice and segregation. He wanted America to know what the problems were and wanted to point out the way to resolve these problems. In his speech, King uses different types of rhetorical guidelines. He uses them to show his points in a better and easier way to understand. At the beginning he successfully uses mythos. A myth has a deep explanatory or symbolic resonance for the audience.
In history we know that no two men are alike but, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were phenomenal people and leaders. Both had visualized some type of change in the future, yet were not literally able to see it. Both Dr. King and Malcolm X set out to bring a sense of confidence to blacks all over the United States. Their main purpose was to help instill black’s power and strength so that they could overcome racial disparity and prejudice that surrounded them, but both of them had very unique and distinct different ways of promoting their message. Martin was more geared and focused on equality and wellness of the world as a whole, a Malcolm X’s personal interpretation of the world was very well blinded by anger, bitterness, and the desire to get revenge at the expense of the world that he thought treated him unfairly.
Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy were two very commendable men. They were two very different men that I feel had the same incredible amount passion for human beings. Both Dr. King and President Kennedy had such high hopes for this country and regardless of the sad and devastating time era, they both spoke with much poise and compassion. I truly believe they are exactly what this country needed and still needs to this very day.
Two great men that inspired thousands and millions to act on their behalf wither it be bad or good. Their words alone made people feel what they felt with out even meeting them. These two men were vastly different form one another but in some ways acted similar. They both led movements and large amount of people to act in ways that they would not have with out them to give them a push. Lets see what these two men that some would call one amidst some of the most inhumane people in the world and the other to be a breaker of chains and father to the civil rights movement.
Heroic qualities are traits that every epic hero should have. The heroic qualities that Beowulf and Martin Luther King shared are the want to achieve something better for themselves and others. These epic heroes have lived life boldly and have died in honor of their quest to achieve greatness. Both made the sacrifice and the fight to help or fight to protect their way of life but in the end made the sacrifice of their life. Martin Luther King relates to Beowulf for the bravery of fighting racial discrimination, the intelligence behind every march they did to draw the attention, the will to die to achieve the goals he worked for.
The definition of a leader is a person who influences people to a common purpose. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr are examples of great leaders who brought about social change through alternative means in the 20th century. Their means were through nonviolent protests of freedom. Gandhi fought for freedom from Great Britain, and King fought for freedom from segregation and equal rights for all Americans.
