Could a democratic president and a republican president have the same choices but different consequences. Barack Obama is known for the killing of Osama bin laden. George W Busch is the known for when the 9/11 attacks happened in 2001. Both presidents had positive impacts on the United States during 9/11 and after 9/11.
Both Barack Obama and George W Busch had similarities in their presidency's. Both presidents were reelected for second terms in their presidency. Both presidents had to deal with al-Qaida and the Taliban. George Busch started the search for the person responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Barack Obama on the other hand ended the search for the person responsible for the 9/11 attacks by finding the person and killing him. When the 9/11 attacks happened George Busch remained positive during the 9/11 attacks. Obama was really positive of when us soldiers found Osama and killed him. When both presidents were so focused on the al-Qaida and the Taliban it opened the door for more terrorist groups to form. To conclude, Busch and Obama had similarities during their presidency.

Obama was a democrat and Busch was a republican. Busch delt with the Iraq war the most. Obama urged congress to reform immigration laws. President Obama sent 2.5 million undocumented immigrants back to Mexico. Even though Obama did that there was still 12 million immigrants still in the country. Obama was the one that came up with the foreign policy as well. That led the end of the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war. To conclude, Obama and Busch had many differences they still made the right choices for this
...ous statements it can be inferred that in some ways the Obama administration was like the Bush Administration in terms of foreign national policies. Obama also made poor choices by expanding on Bush policies that were already a dangerous jaunt from constitutional practices. Another thing Obama did was increase our expenditures by the billions, which can cause harm in his domestic reform agendas, and might lead to divisive and expensive foreign wars.
Franklin Roosevelt’s speech says the following, “Primarily this is because the rulers of the exchange of mankind's goods have failed, through their own stubbornness and their own incompetence, have admitted their failure, and abdicated. Practices of the unscrupulous money changers stand indicted in the court of public opinion, rejected by the hearts and minds of men.” Roosevelt uses words such as “stubbornness”, “incompetence”, and “unscrupulous” to underline the absence of morals in these money changers that have failed the American people. Barack Obama’s speech says the following, “Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age.” Obama uses words such as “violence”, “hatred”, and “weakened” to stress the wrongdoing that have been committed by the previous leaders of the country. Both of the presidents use emotive language to illustrate the wrongdoings that have been committed by the previous
Both President Bush and President Obama had very different ways of running the country during their presidencies. Overall, President Bush used less persuasion on major domestic and foreign policies than President Obama. With these differences among the presidents, they both passed and approved laws that would try to better the nation and it’s citizens.
Both of these speeches talked about what each person wanted to do as president. Additionally they both talked about equality and how it is very important while being the president of the United States. They both talk about affirming the limits of power and unifying the country. They both relate things to Heaven and what Heaven and the bIble would think of problems. In paragraph 4 of Washington's Inaugural Address it states, “We cannot expect Heaven to smile upon a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right. Heaven itself has ordained these rules. The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, have been tied to this experiment entrusted to the American people.” In paragraph 9 of Obama’s Inaugural Address it states, “We remain a young nation, but in the words of the Bible, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit. We must choose our better history. We must carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation, the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.” This Although Barack Obama and George Washington have many differences in their Inaugural Addresses there are also many
The U.S. president is a person deemed to be the most fitting person to lead this country through thick and thin. It’s been such a successful method that it has led to 43 individual men being put in charge of running this country. However, this doesn’t mean that each one has been good or hasn’t had an issue they couldn’t resolve when in office. But no matter what, each one has left a very unique imprint on the history and evolution of this nation. However when two are compared against one another, some rather surprising similarities may be found. Even better, is what happens when two presidents are compared and they are from the same political party but separated by a large numbers of years between them. In doing this, not only do we see the difference between the two but the interesting evolution of political idea in one party.
9/11 is a horrific moment in history, and is well recognized for it’s spawn of mass hysteria in America. Because of this, The Crucible and 9/11 are highly similar in that both situations caused people to become so fearful and paranoid to the point where they began to treat others unfairly, and become more vulnerable/gullible to people’s selfish schemes. In the Crucible, the people of Salem wished for there to be safety in their town and in their religion. However the fear of witchcraft interfered with that, causing a mass hysteria to flood throughout the town. They began to point fingers. It also caused them to be vulnerable. hence becoming more gullible. These same situations happened to America after 9/11 occurred.

...nbsp; Overall, both pieces had their fair share of similarities between them. The only real difference was the way they presented their ideas. Both men either changed the way the country was run, or paved the way for change, being two of the first men that spoke up and stood up for what they believed, and did not let anything stand in their way.
On September 11, 2001 terrorists crashed two American airline airplanes into Twin Towers, killing thousands of people. It was the worst terrorist attack in American history and it showed us that we are not protected by Atlantic and Pacific. It showed us that we could be attacked by anyone at anytime. It showed us that if we will be attacked again that we can only depend on each other and not on other nations to help us. The 9/11 changed people forever, some lost family members or friends, others lost their jobs even so called “American Dream.”
September 11, 2001 is known as the worst terrorist attack in United States history. On a clear Tuesday morning, there were four planes that were hijacked and flown into multiple buildings by a terrorist group named al Qaeda. This group, led by Osama bin Laden, killed nearly 3,000 people. Out of those 3,000 people more than 400 police and 343 firefighters were killed along with 10,000 people who were treated for severe injuries. Many lives were taken, and to this day, people still suffer from the attack. September 11th is the most influential event of the early twenty-first century because it made an increase in patriotism, it caused a rise in security throughout the nation, and it had a tremendous effect of thousands of lives.
In conclusion, both Presidents ended the wars inherited by previous presidents; however President Obama’s approach was much less controversial and more effective than Nixon’s approach. Nixon’s plan backfired and caused him to lose more American lives than he had planned. Obama’s plan focused on stopping American casualties and bringing troops back after Afghan was actually ready to fight for themselves. Nixon’s approach was selfish, while President Obama’s approach was used to benefit American and Afghan politics and society.
In the United States of America, every four years, American citizens sit down and vote upon who they would like to be the new up and coming president. Citizens often debate on different aspects that would affect their presidencies, such as their domestic and foreign policies. The two past United States Presidents of Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are two presidents that are often compared on their different policies due to their family background. After realizing that the two are brothers, individuals often assume that the two are similar in their policies, while in fact, this is certainly not the case. While some Americans may believe that Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are similar in their presidencies
Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have many similarities. Both of their first terms as President were shockingly alike such as, job approval rating difference being only point five percent and the interest in reforming available healthcare to people of lower class. Both President Clinton and President Obama were referred to as black presidents, only because they didn’t uphold the same backgrounds as did the former presidents. Neither Obama nor Clinton had a personal relationship with his father, which meant both grew up in a single parent working household – a reality rare in the time period. Both young Obama and young Clinton grew up aspiring to be great lawyers; they married lawyers Michelle and Hillary, respectively. Clinton, as well as Obama, belong to the Democratic Party. However, despite the many similarities between the two, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama could not be any more different. Former President Bill Clinton proves superior to the current President Barack Obama because of the beneficial strategies he used to improve the United States of America.
