Those who go to college know how much it can influence and benefit them in the long run. College-educated people not only tend to have higher earnings than people without degrees, they are also more likely to have health and retirement benefits with their jobs, and they are far less likely to be unemployed (Hanford). Some examples of college-educated people who have high paying jobs would be: lawyers, engineers, doctors, and computer programmers. College degrees are the only way to receive one of these jobs. Without college degrees, this world would not have doctors to cure diseases, lawyers to support people in life threatening cases, and no engineers to construct or design new buildings that will be effective.
