The day I had dreamed about my whole life finally came, the day that I became a senior. At first it was great being considered the senior, but my feelings quickly changed once everything started coming to an end. I had my last first day, my last volleyball practice and game, my last football game, and now my last vaudeville and soon there will be many more lasts to come. I had always thought that I couldn’t wait to become a senior and be the big dogs in school, but now that it’s finally here I wish I still had more time. Looking back, I only think of all the chances I didn’t take and all of the regrets I have because I thought I had forever, but they weren’t kidding when they said time flies. I still remember elementary, middle and high school like it was yesterday, but now it’s my last year. …show more content…

I finally came out of my shell and grew enough courage to take classes and do events my middle school self never would’ve imagined doing, like vaudeville and the musical. Something inside me really stepped up when I became a high schooler, because I’ve made the best grades I’ve ever made now and because of that I’ve been accepted into many great schools, like Purdue. I became a friend that I wish I had, a mentor to underclassmen, and a role model to my younger sibling and cousins. I have entered so many clubs since I’ve started high school; Pep club, Beta Club, Sunshine Society, FCA, Anti-bullying, Girl Talk, ITS, Student Council, and Peers Project. Overwhelming? Yes, is it worth it?
