Drivers
Drivers that are out and about on the road nowadays, are like different breeds. Some people prefer to white knuckle the roads and drive, what seems like, 80 mph under the speed limit. On the other end of the spectrum, there are the drivers that drive 80 mph over the speed limit, constantly texting while driving and also have a terrible case of road rage. Drivers today come in three categories, the reckless, the white knucklers, and the normal. If you fall on one side of the spectrum or another, you could be a danger to our drivers today. This is definitely one of the most annoying kinds of drivers that there is in existence. It never fails, this is the type of driver that a person gets stuck behind when they are really just not wanting to be driving ten under the speed limit. These grandma/grandpa drivers, in my opinion, are the most annoying to try to drive around. Even when the weather is perfect for driving and their car is in perfect working condition, this person is being overly cautious and drives an obnoxious amount of speed below the speed limit. When this driver hears that there are people out there that text and drive, they simply think that it is extremely stupid and the say that they would never do such a thing. This is the kind of driver that is extremely safe and sometimes this can lead to the driver being too annoying. There is no reason for a person to be speeding, but there is also no reason to be obnoxiously slow either. Accidents around this form of driver can be common as well. When a person who drives slow is out on the roads, it often leads to frustration among the other drivers which causes them to gain a little bit of road rage. This could lead to some bad decisions and can cause an accident. If a reckless driver and the grandpa driver cross paths, this can cause for some serious frustration and potential accidents. This is the type of person that is not quite the slowest person on the planet, but they do drive sensibly and realistically. This driver always leaves enough time to get to their destination because they hate having to pass a whole bunch of people illegally and speed the whole way here. This type of driver also is never on their phone. When a cell phone while driving comes to mind, they simply act as though they don’t need it because this is, for one, illegal and for two, extremely dangerous for themselves and other people around. Another thing that is great about these people is that they do drive the speed limit. We all know just how annoying it can be to have to drive behind the white knucklers. If the normal drivers get stuck behind a white knuckler, they will pass when it is necessary. But other than this occasion, these people are not driving annoyingly fast, or annoyingly slow, they are just driving the legal limit. For these people, getting pulled over comes to a minimum because they are usually doing everything right and they are not drawing extra unnecessary attention to

More than half of those surveyed by NHTSA admitted to driving aggressively on occasion. Only 14 percent felt it was "extremely dangerous" to drive 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. 62 percent of those who frequently drive in an unsafe and illegal manner said police for traffic reasons had not stopped them in the past year. The majority of those in the NHTSA survey (52 percent) said it was "very important" to do something about speeding.
