Throughout my life I have learned many things about Christianity, however, in more recent years I have learned that my views and opinions of the world based on what I have learned as a Christian, are considered my worldview. The reason why this is significant is because it effects how I believe the world came into being, an issue Dr. Lam addresses in his article. Dr. Lam also focuses in his paper on explaining why our Creator is different from others, and what makes Him unique as a whole. In this paper I will explain what my thoughts are on the points Dr. Lam makes in his paper, and discuss how his points have affected my own thoughts and opinions.
In Dr. Lam’s article he talks about three main points, the first one focuses on God as the supreme creator, the second one focuses on the idea that creation is a good thing, and the third one focuses how both the human body, as well as, the heavens and earth are God’s temple. As far as the first point goes I would have to say that I agree with Dr. Lam’s explanation of this as a whole. I really like that Dr. Lam explains in this …show more content…

Lam’s article, and considering the points I do and do not agree with him on, I have to say that my thoughts have definitely been affected. Something that stood out to me the most was the concept of creation being a good thing. I have always enjoyed studying about gods and goddesses and stories of old in general, but I had never really grasped the concept that in many of these stories the creation of earth or mankind was not considered a good thing. I distinctly remember old stories as a matter of fact where gods were punished for helping mankind. But, as a Christian my worldview is completely different from this. For me I have the confidence that my God loves me and purposefully made me, and the world around me. This thought may seem simply in a way, but it affected not only how I view my own worldview, but also how I will study other worldviews going
