The organisation, Christian animal rights effort, also known as C.A.R.E is a ministry designed to promote animal rights amongst believers in Christ with the goal to liberate animals from suffering. C.A.R.E. has a mission to inform Christians of the two following teaching of God.
1) Humans and animals are equal, and mankind has no advantages over the beast.(Eccles 3:19)
2) All professing Christians are to be vegetarians. In accordance with this teaching, Saint Paul says, "I will never eat meat anymore, for I will not be the cause of my brother's downfall." "The right thing to do is to keep from eating meat, drinking wine, or doing anything else that will make other believers fall.”(1st Cor.8:13 & Romans 14:21 NEB & TEV)
Christian Animal Rights Effort has a philosophy, to help animals achieve peace, the same peace we desire. To end animals pain and suffering and to display unity opposing animal exploitation with unconditional love and compassion. C.A.R.E. believes that all Gods creatures have right, this includes both human and non-human animals; however, animals cannot speak for themselves. Psalm 145:9 “The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he made.” The religious text is a Christian statement that supports the work C.A.R.E is attempting to achieve, with this statement it displays that the lord views all that he created as equal. Another situation in which animal exploitation goes against Christianity values and ethics includes Genesis1:29,30, which states Gods instructions to Adam and Eve to eat only fruit and seeds, "I have given you all plants that bear seed: they shall be your food".
