Children Writing Assignments

Reading, and writing assignments that you give children can be very difficult for them to remember exactly what needs to be done. One easy way to help them remember is to give them a to do list that can be easily seen on a board. This works well for book reports, or teaching children to take notes while they are reading.

You can easily use your computer to print out the weekly schedule to be placed on the board. If you prefer you can use a brightly colored construction paper. Just write down the assignments that have to be done for the week. Leave a few blank lines so your child can write down a few notes on whether or not the assignment was done.
