Child Care Worker Research Paper

The reason I choose to do my paper on child care work is because it’s been something that I’ve been interesting in for a long time. I love being around children and helping them. Without child care workers single parents would have to worry about what will happen to their children while they are at work, or out for a special occasion. Child care workers are a need for some many people. I think it's important for people to know about what a childcare worker is and what they have to offer to help people out.

Childcare workers have many different jobs to perform on their day to day life. Child care workers are people who work with younger children. Most have to document many things about the children they are supervising like change in feelings,

For example, there are childcare center worker, nannies, babysitters, and family childcare providers. Nannies are people who work inside people homes. Their main role is to provide a safe, caring environment to the children. A nanny is only there to care for the children and their needs, not the parents. Depending on the age of the children the nanny will include nurturing love for the infants and toddlers, create activities, schedule play dates, reading books to the children, helping with homework, driving to and from school events, and supporting the kids in those events they participate in (Types of child care

The pros of being a child care worker is that you get to help kids learn something new, creating activities for them. You could either work full time or part time. Some childcare workers have more of a pro if they are working inside their own homes, because then they wouldn't have to worry about driving in the horrible weather. The cons of being a child care worker is that break time could be nonexistent. Some may have long hours. Parents could be inconsiderate and downright rude, and could bring their child sick, which could cause you or the other children to get sick. Another con is when the parent is always late, and forgetting the needed supplies for their child. (Pros and Cons of Home
