The reason I choose to do my paper on child care work is because it’s been something that I’ve been interesting in for a long time. I love being around children and helping them. Without child care workers single parents would have to worry about what will happen to their children while they are at work, or out for a special occasion. Child care workers are a need for some many people. I think it's important for people to know about what a childcare worker is and what they have to offer to help people out.
Childcare workers have many different jobs to perform on their day to day life. Child care workers are people who work with younger children. Most have to document many things about the children they are supervising like change in feelings,

For example, there are childcare center worker, nannies, babysitters, and family childcare providers. Nannies are people who work inside people homes. Their main role is to provide a safe, caring environment to the children. A nanny is only there to care for the children and their needs, not the parents. Depending on the age of the children the nanny will include nurturing love for the infants and toddlers, create activities, schedule play dates, reading books to the children, helping with homework, driving to and from school events, and supporting the kids in those events they participate in (Types of child care …show more content…
The pros of being a child care worker is that you get to help kids learn something new, creating activities for them. You could either work full time or part time. (Pros and Cons of a Career as a child care worker). Some childcare workers have more of a pro if they are working inside their own homes, because then they wouldn't have to worry about driving in the horrible weather. The cons of being a child care worker is that break time could be nonexistent. Some may have long hours. Parents could be inconsiderate and downright rude, and could bring their child sick, which could cause you or the other children to get sick. Another con is when the parent is always late, and forgetting the needed supplies for their child. (Pros and Cons of Home
Nannies and housecleaners and caregivers are what make other jobs possible. If you have two professionals who have responsibilities of their own and need to work, yet have nowhere to leave the children they can easily just pick up the phone and find themselves somebody who can do the job for them. If there was nobody to look after the children, they would not be able to go to work until you found somebody that they trust enough to take care of their children. Domestic workers make life for a large number of people a lot easier. Employees no longer have to worry about who will be feeding their children, washing their clothes, picking them up from school and so on. At the same time, they know that after a long day of work they will be able to come home to a clean house; offering a piece of mind to many. Without the help of domestic workers, many people would not be able to live their lives as they normally do. Domestic workers need to start receiving the rights and respect they
In my opinion, day care workers have many challenges. The kids ranging from two to
The childcare industry has variables including childcare by a family member, a traditional caregiver or a day care center. It depends on a family’s situation as to which one benefits them most. The two types of childcare to be discussed are the traditional caregiver and a day care center. Parents must decide whether they want a one-on-one or a group setting for the care of their children.
Child care is a rewarding and yet demanding career. These demands come from an abundance of sources: consistent changes to rules and regulations, requests from parents, and the forever evolving needs of a child in your care. Not only should these demands help solidify you as a growing early childhood professional, there are also plenty of other demands that can significantly affect your career choice. These include educational levels, levels of hands-on training, personal interests, family obligations, values, abilities, and your individual professional priorities.
I appreciate that you have decided to share your personal experience within this post. Pediatric care is an entity within itself within the medical field. Ill children are extremely difficult to manage as patients and have the tendency to have a rapid change in status while patients in the hospital. Providing safe care for pediatrics during hospitalization is an area that I am not too familiar with. Working the ER I have had many pediatric patients, but the parents always remain with the patient. When peds patients are admitted, hospital protocol states that the patient must be present during the transfer of the patient to the admitting floor. So, in my experience the parent always provides the safety aspect of care in the ER, patient are expected

I have many talents, but one of them is baby-sitting. Baby-sitting is the act of taking care of babies. Usually you watch the child so parents can have a break or even when they go to work. Depending on the baby you're watching it could be difficult or simple. Baby-sitting is very fun.
As children interact with the child care professional several hours a day, parents always look for persons of good influence who can help in the development of their child’s emotional, intellectual and social aspect. Therefore, the characteristics that a childcare worker must possess in order to be successful in the field is, having a positive outlook when working with children, being always patient with them, having excellent communication skills, being energetic both mentally and physically, being flexible in dealing with the young hearts, and being well informed. Further, a good childcare worker must have an honest and inborn interest for children, be compassionate to their needs, and must feel motivated to help them. Without the quality of being patience, childcare workers
This is a strength because care workers in day care centres are meeting relevant standards of practice and work in a lawful, safe and effective way. Doing this will protect young people. Day care centres support and encourages individuals to do as much for themselves as possible to maintain their independence and physical ability and encourages people with disabilities to maximise their own potential and independence.
Over time, the debate of childcare issue within the Canadian public policy context has been raging. Rise in the media attention of the social issue of childcare policy in Canada concentrates on the relationship and coordination among the federal, provincial, and territorial governments in addressing the social issue (Finkel, 20013). According to Lewis Steven of The Star Canada News Agency, childcare is one of the priorities the Canadian Federal Government need to consider when designing its social policies. According to Lewis (2013), the Canadian Federal Government needs to consider the safety net income as an important factor contributing to affordable childcare services in the country. In Canada, parents or members of extended family have the responsibility of providing childcare services without the consideration of family net income. However, outside the family, there are many childcare providers operating as private individuals or agencies. Such childcare providers operate as private businesses.

...l that it is a decision that a parent needs to make, based on what they feel are important standards for learning. Home schooling provides a more relaxed environment, with a one on one learning environment and a flexible schedule. It also provides a pace that is best for the child, an environment on areas children want to focus on as well as confident student who doesn¦Ðt have to deal with the feelings of others. However, it decreases the socialization of the child, less exposure to different ethnicities and a limited view of the real world. The parents probably do not have the knowledge they need to teach, there are more distractions to deal with and parents may not know how to teach. These ideas are serious to think about and only add to the controversial idea of home schooling.
