A family of killers that swarmed California in the late 60s. This is no ordinary family. This family is lead by the notorious cult leader and manipulator mastermind Charles Manson. With his followers: Charles “Tex” Watson, Bobby Beausoleil, Mary Brunner, Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, Patricia Krenwinkel, Bernard Crowe, Leslie Van Houten, and Steve Grogan. This family would brutally kill innocent people they brought a reign of terror to California. (Crimemuseum)
Born November 12th, 1934 Charles Manson would become one of the most notorious killers of his time. Before Manson was even born the family he was going to be in was not a good one. Manson’s mother was a runaway named Kathleen Maddox. She got pregnant with Charles at the age of sixteen. He was an unplanned child. He had a rough home life and started getting into criminal activity at an early age. He started by doing little petty things like stealing candy from stores, trying to bribe people into giving him things, and skipping school. He never was raised properly no one ever taught him right from wrong. His mother was constantly at parties and never taking care of Manson. She was on jail sometimes constantly getting put in and getting out. Charles first job was to take stolen cars across state lines which is the first thing he got arrested for in 1956. After his frequent breaks in and out of jail for 11 years the only other job he had was being a pimp. (Crimemuseum) He was really good at being a pimp because of his manipulative skills that he had been really good and he could convince women to join him. After being incarcerated again and in prison for a second time he learned how to play the guitar and he really enjoyed it. He kept telling himself that once h...

To conclude the horrific all the Manson Family and Charles Manson himself may be in prison or dead but there horrific crimes and what they did will never be forgotten and it still sends fear of what people can do to people today.

Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934 is a serial killer who spearheaded a murderous campaign with his followers, the Manson Family cult. Famous for the brutal murders of actress Sharon Tate and other Hollywood residents, Manson was never actually found guilty of committing the murders himself. However, because of the terrible crimes he forced others to commit, he made him a living figure of evil. Charles Mason first lived in Ohio with his mother, Kathleen Maddox, a 16-year-old girl who had been an alcoholic and prostitute. She married a man, William Manson, but the marriage didn’t last long and Charles was placed in a boys school.
"Mr. Scott, Ms. Maddox? Here's your baby boy!" These were the first words that Kathleen Maddox heard when she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, to whom she would later give her maiden name. Charles Milles Manson, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 11, 1934 (FAQ's 1), seemed to be a normal child, when, in fact, he was trouble from the start. The two had not planned to have a child, and certainly did not expect him to end up being the most notorious killer of the 20th century. In the summer of 1969, Manson made the residents of California afraid to leave their homes (Fillmer 2). Charlie Manson committed grotesque crimes, controlled his trials, and now resides in the California State Prison (FAQ's 1).
Sue Grafton once stated: “Except for cases that clearly involve a homicidal maniac, the police like to believe murders are committed by those we know and love, and most of the time they're right.” This is clearly the thought the Boulder Colorado police conceived in the case of little beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey. As many have observed from the onslaught of media coverage, the day after Christmas 1996, six year old Jon Benet Ramsey was found buried under a white blanket, bound, beaten, and strangled to death in the wine cellar of their Boulder home. With such a strikingly rare and glamorous story of a six year old beauty queen dead, who was a part of a “perfect American upper-middle class family”, combined with a lack of a lead and ever mounting suspicion piling up against the parents it was no surprise to find that it was fuel to the media and soon stories sold and became a matter of competition between the press. So, like wildfire, this heart-breaking story spread, stretching across the nation, shattering the souls of the world. News broadcasts, magazine and newspaper articles, and television specials all shaped and molded peoples perceptions of this beautiful child’s murder, especially her parents, John and Pasty Ramsey’s involvement or lack there of. The police and FBI’s merciless quest to connect Jon Benet’s murder to her parents, seemed to cause the them to overlook important evidence, or at the very least dismiss suspicious findings that would otherwise send red flags to investigators. There are many contributors as to why this case remains unsolved including lack of investigative expertise, failure to protect valuable evidence, and focusing too much on the parents as suspects but, ultimately, the over involvement of...

There IS a connection between murderous beings, such as Ted Bundy and Charles Manson, and a common high school bully. Such characters share similar traits such as a lack of remorse/shame/guilt and changing themselves if they know it will help keep them from being found out. This is known as sociopathy. The connection between the two characters listed earlier, is that the root of their behavior stems from their childhood. More specifically, it stems from their upbringing. A child who suffers from maltreatment or neglect are two very common problems. There is even the opposite of neglect, a parent who praises and pushes their child to do their best, throughout their entire life, until the child finally snaps. How a young child is treated from the moment they are born to adulthood can immensely affect the kind of person they become. If signs of sociopathy are found early on enough in the child’s life, something can be done about it.

Michael Jackson is one of my favorite singers. He is very famous, so most of all people in the world know him, at least his name. I began to listen to his songs because I was recommended them by my friend, and I was really attracted by them. I have two reasons why I like him.
