Charles Lindbergh (“Lucky Lindy”)is an aviator pilot who has been known as a “lone eagle” was born in Detroit Michigan on February 4th, 1902. Lindbergh’s family moved to a farm in little falls minnesota, which had always felt most home to him,, Lindbergh moved around quite a bit starting in 1907 he spent his winters in D.C with his dad, who was a congressman, and spent the summers in little falls on the farm or traveling with his mom. Charles Lindbergh is married to Anne Morrow who is an author and her husband taught her how to fly. They meet in mexico when anne was visiting her parents in the winter of 1997, there meeting was brief but long lasting.He proposed to her on their third date. They got married on may 27th,1929. Lindbergh flew from New York to Paris, France on his lone, non-stop “famous flight”, in his small monoplane of his own design called “The Spirit of St. Louis” and became the first to fly across the atlantic. Lindbergh voiced that his biggest enemy during his flight would be sleep deprivation, so in preparation for his flight Lindbergh he deliberately deprived himself of sleep for long periods of time. Before he reached scotia he fell asleep and woke with a jolt, and when lindbergh opened his window a bit to let the air blow on his face, The chart that he had plotted his course on was nearly sucked out of his plan’s window.
