Construction mistakes and defective works are the fourth challenges to be considered as main challenges that hinder completion on-time project. There are three aspect of sub - challenges in construction mistakes and defective works that hinder project from completing on time were ranked based on relative important index from the perspective of contractor. Lack of workmanship was ranked in first sub – challenges. In addition, lack of high – technology is related the challenges of low productivity and efficiency of equipment which is particularly true due to old model equipment not able to produce high production and frequent equipment breakdown problem.

4.4 STRATEGIES ADOPTED TO ENSURE ON-TIME COMPLETION
The objective of conducting the analysis for this section is to determine the strategy can be adopted to complete project on time that identified from the literature review and the ranking according to their significant influence towards efficiency of strategy. Based on the eight challenges that identify, the observations of nine strategies have been proposed to ensure project complete on time.

In order to identify the effectiveness of strategy to ensure on – time completion in construction project, there are challenges that hinder project from complete on time were identified and ranked based on the calculation of the relative importance index as shown in Table 4.3.
Referring to Table 4.3 and Figure 4.10, shows site management and supervision, proper planning work, cost management, use proper equipment and machineries and collaborative working in construction has made the top five of effective strategies were ranked by contractors.
The site management and supervision is the most important strategy among the nine strategies. The contractors need to ensure all the parties that involve in the construction project to follow the timetables from starting of work until completion of project in time given. So, it will hinder the project from cost overrun. In addition, the contractors have to appoint Project Manager for supervise the construction quality and standard compliance based client
