Panem is a nation that is divided into 12 districts and the Capitol, a building occupied by President Snow. Each year a female and male age from 12- 18 years old are selected to participate in The Hunger Games. The Games, put on by the Capitol, are meant to punish the 12 districts of Panem as well as to remind them of the destruction of district 13 for its revolution against the Capitol. The movie is well put together through reframing, the use of the gaze, and sound effects. Amusing, violent revenge for a past rebellion against the Capitol, the games were created and televised the broadcast through Panem. The 24 participants are sent into an arena and are forced to purge the other Tributes while it’s mandatory for the citizens of Panem to watch. When Prim, Katniss' young sister, is chosen as District 12's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her sister's place. She and her male colleague, Peeta, are put against bigger, stronger tributes, some of which have trained to fight for the games their whole lives. Katniss ends up in District 13, which she thought was destroyed years ago by President Snow, as she shatters the games forever. She accepts to become the symbol of the rebellion, “the Mocking Jay”, to go against and fight the Capitol. However President Snow broadcast Peeta stating that he is a live with the former victors and Katniss …show more content…

When she hears the hostiles have been recued, She runs out into what it seems to be a hospital room. The reunion scene, you can see the camera quickly moving and reframing with Katniss as she runs out. It passed through Johanna and she her head is shaved and Annie gets emotional when she sees Finick. Katniss sees Gales, a man that went liberate the former victors, and quickly runs over to hug him. She thanks him for volunteering to rescue the hostile winners. Gale can tell that she really wanted to see Peeta and tells her what room Peeta was
